Wright Deliver Japanese Plant!

Wright Engineering were approached by Redland PLC’s Projects Department to design and manufacture a new Raw Materials Input, Storage and Delivery System for one of their premier production plants in Japan.

Our engineers worked closely with the clients representatives and the project was successfully installed at Himeji in Japan, by our own staff, during 1998. The equipment was fabricated at our factory and installed on time and to budget, and  plant production commenced on the planned date.

The equipment was designed to minimise the need for maintenance and also to eliminate spillage . The enclosure of the belts and the effective flashing in of the conveyor entry points to buildings minimised the environmental impact of the aggregate storage by eliminating dust into the local atmosphere.

Maintenance access was a primary concern and the walkway access was carefully designed to provide a safe working environment.
