Wright win contract for 15 new grain silos

As part of their continued market development strategy Wright Engineering have won the contract with Bentall Rowland Storage Systems Ltd to install fifteen new Grain Silos for Woldgrain Storage Limited at their Hemswell Airfield site in North Lincolnshire.

The contract included the removal of 11 old Silo Hoppers (Wet Bins) and the installation of 11 new 200 tonne capacity Silo Hoppers (Wet Bins) and 4 new 4500 tonnes capacity Flat Bottom Silos as part of Phase One of Woldgrains’ planned expansion plans to eventually take the site capacity to 78,000 tonnes.

Phase One will build an extra 20,000 tonnes of storage providing Woldgrain with the capacity to store up to 22 different commodities to meet contract specifications.

Wright Engineerings’ expertise in working on major sites in their traditional markets of Quarrying , Power Generation, Waste and Construction Materials played a major part in their successful bid as Health and Safety, Quality Assurance, Safe Working Practices and Major Contracting Experience were key requirements expected by Main Contractor Clugston Construction.

The demands of major project sites are prevalent on all major Grain and Agriculture Project sites with the necessary Work Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Lift Plans and Safe Working Practice applicable. Wright Engineering are Achilles, Safe Contractor and Passport to Safety approved and have the flexibility to man up to required levels extremely quickly as situations dictate.

Another positive factor is Wright Engineerings’ ability to design, manufacture and provide fabrications, hand railing, access platforms and ladders and other miscellaneous metalwork to meet contractors’ requirements on site as additions to contract with the minimum of fuss and keeping within budgetary constrictions.

Wright Engineering are now in a position to offer Grain and Agricultural installations of both Storage and Grain Handling Equipment throughout the UK and Europe.

Wright Engineering is an ISO 9001:2008 registered company
