Wright Replace Conveyor System for British Gypsum - Robertsbridge

When British Gypsum Ltd, Robertsbridge, lost the conveyors feeding their production plant due to a major landslip, they took the opportunity to introduce a new screen house into the replacement conveyor system.

Wright Engineering design staff were given the task of designing the new conveyor system, eliminating the unstable ground, and interweaving the conveyors between existing workshops and offices. The conveyor drawings and specifications were then put out to tender by British Gypsum Ltd,Wright Brothers won the contract.

The conveyors were to be installed in 3 phases and the final phase was in a short shutdown period between Christmas and New Year 2001 The project was completed on time and production commenced as scheduled.

We have subsequently received letters of thanks from British Gypsum Management for the work we carried out.
