Huge project for Tarmac Tunstead rolls into production!
Wright Engineering have just commenced a 30 week project for Tarmac at their Tunstead operations. The project involves the installation of Maertz kilns, conveyor systems, transfer towers and screens. On completion Wright Engineering will effect the commissioning process.

The installation of the Stone and Lime handling conveyors and associated equipment is now well underway on site.
Our installation team is likely to exceed 30 engineers over the next few weeks. This workforce is necessary to ensure that the clients timescale requirements will be successfully met, and the new Kiln will be fed with stone for commissioning at the end of September 2009.
The site installation management team is operating under full CDM Regulations and the client has been supplied with all necessary Health and Safety Documentation. Our in house Health and Safety Manager is performing regular site audits to ensure the project is conducted safely.
