UKCA / CE Marking

Compliance and requirements for CE & UKCA Marking / Factory Production Control (FPC)

Wright Engineering has been accredited to EXC3 (UKCA Certification), which has a more demanding approvals standard but allows us to fabricate the vast majority of steel structures. The CE Marking Certification provides evidence of a suitable Factory Production Control (FPC), which ensures trace-ability of every component from source through the fabrication process and to final delivery to site.

CE Marking

CE Marking

As of 1st July 2014, the Construction Products Regulation has made it a mandatory legal requirement for all fabricated structural steel components and fabrications for sale on the EU construction market to be CE Marked.

This certification demonstrates that Wright Engineering have the requisite Factory Production Control (FPC) system which ensures full life-cycle traceability, evidence of which will gladly be provided upon request. This verifies compliance with the detailed requirements of BS EN 1090:2-2008 and EN ISO 3834:2 & 3-2005.
